DevOps with Python
- 3 *FIXED* Days Per Week – 3 month contract

There will be an AWS and Python screening test before any hire.
You will be given a deliberately moderate test task in week 1 to deliver upon quickly.

Who We Are
ABM Stars is an Account-based marketing agency, officially based in Central London but with a Nationwide remote-working team of 10-15 people.
Account-based marketing is becoming *the* way to market any B2B business, and the global ABM market is due to double in size to $1.6bn by 2027 – it’s an exciting place to be.
Our goal is to be *the* very best results-based agency for specific sectors, one sector at a time. Our multi-channel ABM campaigns deliver unbeatable results and we are recruiting as we have a queue of MSPs knocking on our door for our guaranteed performance model.
The growth potential in this red-hot ABM market is limitless and global. We are planning our rollout into the US for 2022.
Role Overview
We have a data enrichment flow using Step Functions in AWS which will be the main focus of the role – it already exists, it works, it is documented in Github – you will need to add new functions and carefully deploy those new functions into the existing flow. It is not a simple flow, you will need common sense.
We also have two larger “80% complete” projects, for example an email throttling system, also built in Python/AWS – and you will help take those from 80% to 100%.
Who Should Apply
Mandatory knowledge is:
- Python coding
- AWS – especially lambda & step functions
- Outputs are always posted to Pipedrive, you will be working a lot with this API: developers.pipedrive.com/docs/api/v1
**You must not subcontract**. You will be expected to sign a declaration that states you will not subcontract any of our work without our explicit permission.
Qualifications Required
- AWS
- Python, with skills in API connections
Perfect candidate but not mandatory:
- Pipedrive API experience
- Clay.com API experience

Outcomes you will be measured on
This is all about live deployment without breaking anything, and the new functions actually work. This will be reviewed weekly.
Low-risk Role Trial
You will be given 1 moderate task in week 1. Think of this as a probation task, if that goes well the 3-month contract should go well. It’s all relatively easy stuff, we are certainly not Google…
How to Apply
Step 1
Answer the questions below and record a short 1-2 minute video explaining your specific experience with Python, AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions.
Step 2
If successful, you will receive two short screening tests via email: a) Python, b) AWS.
Step 3
The most successful candidate will then be given the moderately difficult first task, which will of course be paid. The paperwork will be clear that the full 3-month contract will only come into play upon successful deployment of that first task though.
