Bookkeeper (Xero)
DBS-checked – UK Residents Only
- Hourly Rate, expected 10-12 hrs Per Month
- Must have availability at the start of each month (busiest period) – our P&L deadline is “before 7th of the month” – checked and complete state.
- Other than start-of-month obligations, choose your own hours
- Remote: Work from Home or Anywhere in the World
- Earn: £25 per hour

Our goal is to be *the* very best results-based agency for specific sectors, one sector at a time. Our multi-channel ABM campaigns deliver unbeatable results and we are recruiting as we have a queue of MSPs knocking on our door for our guaranteed performance model.

Role Overview
This is a typical bookkeeping role, using Xero as the main software.
It does not include invoicing, there may be additional hours available to help with our invoicing in future if you would like.
We have set weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual duties which will be explained in full – I’m sure you already have a good idea of what they are!
- All Xero feeds & reconciling with correct categories (90% automated rules)
- Including credit cards to actual statements
- Receipts & expenses
- Monthly PAYE, NEST & Gateway Submissions (for 5)
- Director Pay x2 (Payroll + Dividends + Pension / Salary Sacrifice)
- Monthly Contractor (5) and Supplier (1) invoice payments (mostly using Wise)
- Accruals for a tidy P&L
- Checked and Finalised P&L by 7th of each month
- CapEx as it comes up (1-2x per year)
- Quarterly VAT audit and submission
- Annual compliance (led by our Accountants, you to assist where required) / end-of-year P&L finalising
- A reliable “human diary” for the financial calendar, proactively reminding us of all things accountancy!
- Desirable: Slack experience and response within +36hrs (i.e. turn email notifications on) – very infrequent

- DBS Cleared (we will run a check before hiring)

Outcomes you will be measured on
Tidy, reconciled Xero most of the time. PAYE always on time. Suppliers on time enough.
Accurate, finalised P&L by 7th of each month latest.
