Custom Data For Tech Companies

Every Tech Company Has
Silver Bullet Data

First, watch this 2-minute video on custom data build for tech businesses – there is an offer
for tech companies to do a custom data build and get no-risk access t our account-based
marketing team on a pay-per-lead basis.https://www.youtube.com/embed/Feijk1Oi06YEveryone tends to buy Experian, Dun & Bradstreet, Beauhurst, and all the other mainstream  sources
of fairly generic  data – and they are all spamming the hell out of them with  generic offers all day,
every working day. But there is a  better way. Custom data  made just for you, your service,
and who you want to do business with.

Now let me give you an example of a custom data build

Example 1 – Email Security

Rather than hit “all CIOs in London” with “Hi, our new email security software is really good, are you interested in a free consultation?” – picture this:

  • Company size/sector (ok, this is basic firmographics… wait for it)
  • Job Titles of DMs (yawn, standard…)
  • Domain (wait for it…)
DOES THAT DOMAIN USE OFFICE, GMAIL OR OTHER?
DOES THAT DOMAIN HAVE AN SPF, DKIM, AND DMARC RECORD?

Now compare the previous generic approach with something along these lines: “Hi Sally, if you’re using Office 365 you need to protect your brand Company X from the bad guys spoofing your email to clients and customers. I checked and your domain does not have a valid DMARC record on your DNS and this is a risk. It’s not quite as simple as just adding a record and you’re done, but I can talk you through exactly how to secure your brand in about 7 minutes. Do you have time to chat this week?”

Example 2 – Sharepoint

Wildly hitting all businesses with “we do Sharepoint stuff, do you need Sharepoint stuff by any chance?” to receive the reply “no, don’t use it” 99 times out of 100 is inefficient at best. We actually have the data for:

  • Large UK organizations
  • Use Sharepoint
  • Seriously use Sharepoint

So if you are a tech business with a clever widget that does Sharepointy things or a Sharepoint expert, you could hit this data with a very specific Sharepointy message and know it will strike a chord. Which is the better sales angle, do you think? Check out the video and if you agree it’s a better way let’s chat.
